The Entrada, Italian for entranceway and developed by Will Stout, will break new ground in that it provides an alternative to the pricier, million-dollar plus homes found in his other communities. Homes in The Entrada will range in price from $139,000-$400,000. The target market is 3-fold: 50 percent retired, 30 percent young married professionals, and 20 percent everybody else, says Mr. Stout. The 446-acre project, as approved by the Cape Coral City Council, could have as many as 1,600 homes both single-family and condos. The Isles of Porta Vista will be situated within the community of The Entrada. Crossing over the magnificent cobblestone bridge entrance, you are greeted by beautiful waterfront vistas reminiscent of the Northern Italian lake district.
Additionally, The Entrada's commercial center with 250,000 sq.ft. and office space of 15,000 sq.ft. is under construction and will house a grocery store, drugstore, and other shops. The center will be slightly bigger than the Page Field Commons shopping area in Fort Myers.
